A 2-way rack has two arms extending from the upright post in opposite directions — it displays two faces of merchandise and takes up minimal floor space. A 4-way rack has four arms in a cross pattern, displaying four separate garment groupings from a single upright. The 4-way maximizes SKU count per fixture footprint and is the standard for apparel stores with multiple colorways or styles. The 2-way is better for featuring a single story or pairing two complementary items.
