What is the difference between gridwall and slatwall — which is better for my store?

2 views  July 1, 2026
Gridwall panels are made from welded wire mesh — lightweight, portable, and less expensive than slatwall. The open wire design provides high product visibility from multiple angles. Slatwall panels are MDF or solid panels with routed grooves — heavier, more permanent, and available in a wide range of decorative finishes. Gridwall is better for trade shows, pop-up retail, portable displays, and tight budgets. Slatwall is better for permanent installations, finished retail environments where surface finish matters, and heavier merchandise loads.
