What is the difference between peg hooks and slatwall hooks — can I use the same hooks on both systems?

No. Peg hooks are designed for standard pegboard panels — they have a straight peg that inserts into 1/4" round holes on 1" centers. Slatwall hooks are designed for slatwall grooves — they have a shaped engagement profile that fits the T-slot groove geometry. The two systems are not interchangeable. Confirm your wall panel type before ordering.
