Standard retail spacing is 24" on-center for most shelving applications. For shelves 4 feet wide or longer, add a center standard at 24" intervals to prevent shelf sag. For glass shelves, space standards no more than 24" apart. For hangbars and faceouts with lighter loads, 36"-48" spacing may be acceptable — contact our team at 800-571-3301 for guidance on your specific application.
